On Sunday, October 23, 2022, the Lleida Olympic Shooting Club organized the “Destroyer” model vintage rifle championship. From our club, our members Josep Maria Garcia and Rafael Garcia presented themselves to compete, obtaining third and fifth place respectively from a group of 10 participants, leaving proof of their level. The day was excessively cloudy, but the facilities had an excellent climate that helped the competition run smoothly with very suitable facilities for practicing sports shooting at distances of 50/100 metres. Throughout the day that the championship lasted, a good camaraderie and concord reigned among all the participants, as is typical in this type of event. At the end of the competition, they have been well received by the organization, making a snack after the awards ceremony. All that remains is to congratulate our participating members for the results they are achieving in these championships, which are so important in the calendar of the Catalan Federation, as well as our Club and the city of Cambrils in the shooting elite that they represent.
