Last Sunday, October 23, the Generalitat Young Promises Air Rifle Trophy took place in the pavilion covered by the 10-meter Olympic modality of the Catalan Olympic Shooting Federation located in the Public Safety Institute of Catalonia, in Mollet de Vallès. Participation has been numerous and young athletes from Catalonia have taken part. The competition of the rifle modality in a perfect environment of temperature, the trophy has been very disputed and the good atmosphere among the athletes has been the norm. This Trophy consists of a preliminary phase of 15 minutes of preparation that once finished, the competition begins, consisting of 40 shots, controlled with electronic targets and scoring monitors. Four athletes from the Cambrils Olympic Shooting Club competed in the test, Pablo García in the AIR RIFLE MEN ALM AMB SUPORT category obtaining the first position with 162.8 points, María Antón in the AIR RIFLE WOMEN IFF obtaining the second position with 321.2 points, Alba Fernández in AIR RIFLE WOMEN CDF in third position with 305.3 points and Jaume Coll in AIR RIFLE MEN CDM in fourth position with 297.1 points. We once again congratulate our participants for placing the Club de Tir Olimpic Cambrils in the front line of the competition and for the results that are being achieved in these important championships in the calendar of the Catalan federation, as well as our Club and Cambrils in the sport shooting elite they represent.
