On October 12, the 6th historic metal cartridge rifle competition was held in Sabadell, organized by the Sabadell Shooting Club, weapons that were allowed: Weapons designed and used as equipment in the armed forces, both military and police, previously to the year 1965. Very adequate facilities in a 50-meter gallery, with a protected space for spectators, so as not to interrupt the concentration of athletes.
The facilities in this club are fantastic, the organization in charge of the Sabadell Shooting Club was impeccable, throughout the day that the championship lasted, a climate of camaraderie, concord and harmony reigned. There has been a total participation of 18 athletes who were controlled by two judges from the Spanish Shooting Federation, three athletes have had to withdraw and from our club, Francisco J. Vernet Medico has participated, getting the eighth place in the championship . We have had a pleasant trip, a day of very good weather, with a cordial welcome from the organizers. After the competition, prizes have been awarded to the top four finishers, a snack has been undertaken and the event has ended.
At the end of the competition, all the athletes thanked for the pleasant moment they had spent together. It only remains to congratulate our athletes for placing the Cambrils Olympic Shooting Club at the forefront of sport shooting competitions and for the results and dissemination they are achieving in these important championships.
