On March 12, 2022, the Spanish COPA RFEDETO Historical Weapons Championship was held at the Montsiá shooting gallery (Tarragona), with the participation of our members of the Club de Tir Olímpic Cambrils, Jesús Arribas, Pedro Antonio Pardo, Héctor Vila and Pedro Rofes, achieved some very outstanding positions together with the great participation of athletes from all over Spain in the following Specialties: Cominazzo (25m flintlock pistol), Tanzutsu (25m matchlock pistol) Piñal (25m .), Núñez de Castro (breech-loading military rifle 50 m.), Lamarmora (25 m.), Maximilian (100 m.), Miguelete (50 m.), Minie (100 m.), Pennsylvania (50 m.) , Colt (25 m.), Donald Malson (50 m.), Freire and Brull (100 m.), Hizadai (50 m.), Kuchenreuter (25 m.).
A large group of the best shooters from all over our geography attended the event. With strict measures due to the COVID 19 pandemic, the organization in charge of the Spanish Shooting Federation was impeccable. Throughout the day that the championship lasted, a climate of camaraderie and concord prevailed among all the participants. There was bar service for breakfast and lunch with menu prices, for anyone who wanted it.
It only remains to congratulate our members for the results they are achieving in these championships that are so important in the calendar of the Catalan federation, as well as our Club and Cambrils in the elite of the international shooting world that they represent.
