Last Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the Spanish Cup for sporting firearms took place at the facilities of the Gijón Olympic Shooting Society in Gijón, Asturias. During these days of competition, more than 90 athletes participated, many competing individually, as part of Federation teams, and as part of Club teams. Jordi Balañá, from the Cambrils Shooting Club, participated in three disciplines in the senior category, achieving a runner-up position in the Federation team competition, representing the Catalan Federation along with Jordi Murtra and Dídac Thomas. Individually, he achieved two notable results: seventh place in 9mm Pistol and ninth place in Centerfire Pistol. This competition serves as a prelude to the Spanish Championship, which will be held in Granada next October.
