• 02/04/2023 – SPEED PISTOL GENERALITY TROPHY.
• On Sunday, April 2, the Generalitat Trophy for Speed Pistol took place at the facilities of the Catalan Olympic Shooting Federation located at the Public Security Institute of Catalonia, in Mollet de Vallès. The competition started promptly at 9am in the cold.
  The federation has electronic targets that immediately give the results to the participant on five display screens one for each target.
  The speed gun is a very technical modality, in fact it is Olympic, it consists of 60 competition shots in two equal parts, made up of three groups of two series where you have to shoot 5 duel targets in a certain time, in eight seconds, six seconds and four seconds, after these last two series there is a kind of half-time or break so that the participants can relax before starting the second part of the competition.
  From the Cambrils Shooting Club, the sportsman Jordi Balañà took part, taking third place in the senior category.
  The winner of this edition of the Trophy was the athlete of the Barcelona Shooting Club, Emilio Manzano.
  All that remains is to congratulate our participant for placing the Catalan Federation and the Cambrils Olympic Shooting Club at the forefront of the competitions and for the participation in these important championships in the Spanish Federation calendar, as well as our Club and Cambrils in the elite international sports shooting that it represents.
