• -26/03/2023 III PRESIDENT CUP PHASE AAHH FORWARD AND BACKLOAD.
• Organized by: CLUB DE TIR MONTSIÀ, from AMPOSTA.
• On March 24-25 and 26, the III Phase of the PRESIDENT CUP OF HISTORICAL WEAPONS of Muzzleloading and RETROLOADING was held in Amposta. On behalf of the Cambrils Olympic Shooting Club, our colleagues Joan Ferraté Rosals, Fernando Juan Collado Simón, Pedro Rofes Vernís, Francisco Javier Vernet Medico, Pedro Antonio Pardo Reche, Jesús Arribas García and Josep Escoda Aragonés participated.
  The competition had a very high participation, being very difficult to organize the event with so many athletes. In said competition many of the best of the national level gathered, coming from all the regions of Spain.
  Our athletes obtained very satisfactory results. It is worth noting the results obtained by our partner Jesús Arribas, who has been champion in percussion pistol, breech-loading revolver and combined revolver in 25 and 50 meters, runner-up in matchlock pistol and 50-meter revolver, third in 25-meter revolver and military rifle at 50 meters.
  He had a splendid day, with a very pleasant temperature that helped the smooth running of the competition, with very suitable facilities for practicing sports shooting. Throughout the day that the championship lasted, good camaraderie and concord reigned among all the participants, as is typical in this type of event. It only remains to congratulate our members for placing the Catalan Federation and the Cambrils Olympic Shooting Club at the forefront of the competitions and for participating in these very important championships in the Spanish Federation calendar, as well as our Club and Cambrils in the international elite of shooting sports that it represents.
