From June 4 to 6, the Spanish Historical Weapons Championship was held at the CEAR of the Las Gabias shooting gallery (Granada), with high participation, competing more than 100 athletes from all over the national territory. The athletes Jesús Arribas García, Pedro A. Pardo Reche and Héctor Vila Cerda have participated in our club, obtaining excellent results.
By teams, as part of the Catalan Shooting Federation team, in the Wogdon modality (flintlock pistol at 25 meters) Jesús Arribas has been champion of Spain, in Peterlongo (revolver at 25 meters) Jesús Arribas and Pedro A Pardo have obtained the runner-up in Spain and in the Forsyth modality (percussion pistol at 25 meters) Jesús Arribas, a third place.
At an individual level, the bronze medal of Jesús Arribas stands out in the Cominazzo modality (flintlock pistol at 25 meters) and the sixth place of Pedro A Pardo in the same modality.
It should also be mentioned that, due to the results obtained in the competition, Jesús Arribas has qualified to be part of the Spanish team that will participate in the next European Historical Weapons Championship.
