Last Tuesday, April 28, 2026, the president of the Catalan Shooting Federation and the president and vice-president of our club, Tir Cambrils, traveled to Barcelona, ​​to the federation’s headquarters, to collect an air rifle that had been pending delivery for some time. They also took advantage of the visit to discuss matters related to promoting children’s and youth shooting sports.

It is worth noting that the federation recently acquired a number of air rifles at a good price, which have been distributed among different schools, including ours, with the aim of making them more accessible to participants and allowing them to enjoy the sport under better conditions.

We would like to express our gratitude to the president of the Referees’ Association, Ms. Puertas, who took the initiative to include us in this allocation. Unfortunately, she was unable to attend due to commitments related to updating the new regulations being prepared for future competitions.

The federation president received us in his office, where he presented us with the air rifle and encouraged us to actively participate in regional competitions. Mr. Santiago Pleguezuelos, head and instructor of the children’s and youth air rifle program, was also invited to this meeting, but he was ultimately unable to attend due to personal reasons, which we understand.

During the meeting, we reaffirmed our commitment to continue working from the ground up to strengthen our club, promote sports, and raise awareness of our work.
