On Saturday, July 2, 2022, the Lleida Olympic Shooting Club organized the historical breech-loading weapons championship. From our club, our member Jesús Arribas appeared to compete, participating in 5 modalities. He obtaining the first place in the Piñal Revolver modality, being Champion of Catalonia. In the Núñez de Castro Militar modality the second place, being runner-up in Catalonia. Obtaining a good classification in the rest of the modalities in which he participated, Eloi Gonzalo, Martín Cerezo and Núñez de Castro Libre. The day was excellent, but in the facilities there was an excessive temperature that did not help at all for the proper functioning of the competition. Throughout the day that the championship lasted, a climate of camaraderie and concord prevailed among all the participants, as is typical in this type of event. At noon it was possible to stop for lunch in the same Club facilities and continue in the afternoon. All that remains is to congratulate our participating member for the results it is achieving in these championships, which are so important in the calendar of the Spanish Federation, as well as our Club and the city of Cambrils in the elite of the international world of shooting sports that they represent.
