Last Sunday, July 24, the Social Rifle and Air Pistol Championship took place in the galleries of the Sabadell Shooting Club located at Carretera de Bellaterra, 08205 Sabadell, Barcelona
The pneumatic pistol athletes of the Cambrils club are noted in the local competitions of other clubs in Catalonia.
Joan Pallarès, veteran athlete of our club, has achieved a meritorious third place overall with 541 points, behind two great figures in pistol shooting such as F. Cabrera with 556 and D. Matarin with 552.
Fourth place went to F. Nayach from Sabadell with 534 points.
A total of 13 athletes with a pistol and 3 with a rifle have participated. It is worth mentioning the good atmosphere of camaraderie and the hospitality of the Club de Tir Sabadell. A place to make new friends and foster a
passion for our sport. The organization and impeccable arbitration have made us forget the high temperatures.
As a curiosity, in Sabadell the counting of points is done with an automated scanner.
In short, a morning of competition to repeat and encourage the name of our club to sound throughout Catalonia..
