From August 14 to 21, the 29th Historical Muzzleloader World Championship was held in Pforzheim (Germany), organized by the Muzze Loaders Associations International Confederation, M.L.A.I.C.
Athletes representing Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Germany, Finland, France, Great Britain, Italy, Canada, Holland, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Switzerland, Slovakia, Spain, South Africa, Chechnya, Hungary and the U.S.A. participated in this championship.
The Spanish team had the participation of a total of 46 athletes, including the athlete from our club Jesús Arribas who competed in the Tanzutsu, Cominazzo, Kuchenreuter, Mariette and El Álamo modalities.
The Spanish representation won a total of 23 medals, including 5 gold and several silver and bronze.
On the part of the athlete from our club Jesús Arribas, forming a team with Juan Antonio Cortes Alamar and Juan Carlos Lorca, he won a Bronze medal in the El Álamo category.
During the days that the championship has been held, experiences have been shared, new friends have been made and the athletes have enjoyed a great camaraderie.
All that remains is to congratulate our participating partner for the results it is achieving in these championships, which are so important in the world calendar of historical muzzleloaders, as well as our Club and Cambrils in the elite of the international shooting world that it represents.
