On April 25, 26, and 27, the 4th phase of the President’s Cup for Historical Weapons was held at the Las Colinas Shooting Range in Vitoria, counting toward the Spanish Championship.
With a total of 95 participants from different autonomous communities, the competition took place in highly variable weather, with hot Fridays and cold and rainy Saturdays and Sundays.
Representing the Cambrils Olympic Shooting Club, the following athletes participated: Jesús Arribas, Pedro Pardo, Héctor Vila, Pedro Rofes, Juan Ferraté, and F. Javier Vernet.
The following results were achieved in the various events:
Jesús Arribas 1st, Cominazzo, Pedro Pardo 3rd, Kuchen, Jesús Arribas 2nd, Mariette, Jesús Arribas 2nd, Remington, Pedro Pardo 3rd, Jesús Arribas 2nd, Tamzutsu, and Hector Vila 3rd, Vetterli.
A tight competition due to the number of talented athletes from all federations, who all hoped to score points for the aforementioned Spanish Championship to be held at the Las Gabias National Shooting Center in Granada.
