IV PHASE PRESIDENT CUP AAHH FORWARD LOAD RETROLOAD, ORGANIZED BY: ROYAL RIOJANA FEDERATION OF OLYMPIC SHOOTING LOGROÑO (LA RIOJA). During the past April 12, 13 and 14, the IV Phase of the President’s Cup of Historical Weapons was held at the La Rioja Sports Technology Center in Lardero, Logroño, scoring towards the Spanish Championship. On behalf of the Cambrils Olympic Shooting Club, the athletes participated: Jesús Arribas García, Pedro Pardo Reche, Joan Ferraté Rosals, Pedro Rofes Vernis and Francisco Javier Vernet Medico. A First Place was achieved in the Tanzutzu (Japanese matchlock pistol) modality by the athlete Jesús Arribas García. A Second place in Cominazo (Smoothbore flintlock pistol) by the same athlete Jesús Arribas García, which guarantees him the possibility of participating in the Spanish Historical Weapons Championship. The rest of the athletes achieved meritorious positions in various modalities. It only remains to congratulate our participants for placing the Cambrils Olympic Shooting Club at the forefront of the competition and for the results they are achieving in these important championships in the calendar of the Spanish federation, as well as in our Club and Cambrils in the elite of the international world of shooting sports that they represent.
