  • THE VALENCIAN OLYMPIC SHOOTING FEDERATION organizes the RFEDETO Spanish and Valencia Territorial Championships, which were held on March 22-23-24 in the gallery of the Náquera Shooting Club, gallery of the Royal Olympic Shooting Federation of the Valencian Community. It is a national competition, where there has been a high participation, with up to 170 athletes from all over the national territory competing. From our club, the athletes Jesús Arribas, Pedro A. Pardo, Francisco J. Vernet, Héctor Vila, Pere Rofes and Joan Ferrate have participated, obtaining some commendable results. The first place of Jesús Arribas in the Cominazzo modality at 25 meters stands out). The competitions that were held in that championship were in the following Specialties: Cominazzo (25 m flintlock pistol), Tanzutsu (25 m matchlock pistol), Piñal (25 m.), Núñez de Castro (50 breech-loading military rifle m.), Lamarmora (25 m.), Maximilian (100 m.), Miguelete (50 m.), Minie (100 m.), Pennsylvania (50 m.), Colt (25 m.), Donald Malson (50 m.), Freire and Brull (100 m.), Hizadai (50 m.), Kuchenreuter (25 m.), Mariette (25 m.), Remington (25 m.), Vetterli (50 m.), Whitworth ( 100 m.). A large group of the best athletes from all over our geography came to the event. During the competition there was a very difficult daylight as a result of the weather. The organization by the Spanish Shooting Federation was impeccable.
    Throughout the day of the championship, a climate of camaraderie and harmony reigned among all participants. There was bar service for breakfast and lunch with menu prices, for anyone who wanted it. It only remains to congratulate our participants for placing the Olimpic Cambrils Tir Club at the forefront of the competition and for the results they are achieving in these important championships in the calendar of the Spanish federation, as well as our Club and Cambrils in the elite of the international world of shooting sports that they represent.
