On March 14, 15, and 16, the Third Round of the President’s Cup for Historical Weapons was held in Amposta. This national qualifying competition for the Spanish Historical Weapons Championship organized by the Royal Spanish Olympic Shooting Federation (Royal Spanish Federation). With a total of 70 athletes from the Cambrils Shooting Club, the following athletes participated: Jesús Arribas, Pedro Pardo, Pedro Rofes, Héctor Vila, Juan Ferraté, José Escoda, and F.J. Vernet. During the three days of competition, with unseasonable weather, rain, and cold, the following results were achieved in the following categories: Cominazzo 2nd; Pedro Rofes 3rd; Pedro Pardo 3rd; Donald Malson 3rd; Héctor Vila. All that remains is to congratulate our athletes on their successes and encourage them for the fourth and final phase of the competition, to be held in Vitoria.
