From 01 to 03 October, the Tir Montsiá de Amposta Club held the Spanish Championship of Historical Weapons in breech-loading modalities (metal cartridges), where more than 50 shooters from different autonomous communities participated. The athletes Jesús Arribas García and Pedro A. Pardo have participated in our club, obtaining meritorious results.
As part of the team of the Catalan Shooting Federation, in the Núñez de Castro military modality (rifle at 50 meters with open sights) Jesús Arribas has been champion of Spain by teams.
At an individual level, the two participants of our club, in the Piñal revolver modality, have been among the top 10 classified (Jesús Arribas, in 5th position with 171 points and Pedro A Pardo 10th with 168 points). In addition, Jesús Arribas has also been in 4th position in the Núñez de Castro Militar modality with 171 points.
