Last Sunday, March 27, the 1st Phase of the Royal Spanish Olympic Shooting Federation Cup took place, in the Central Fire mode, at the facilities of the Catalan Shooting Federation in Mollet, which was one of the 17 venues chosen from all over the world. state where the competition was played simultaneously. The competition consisted of a precision phase that consists of thirty shots in series of five and in which five minutes are available to fire the five shots in each series. Once the precision phase is over, the duel phase of thirty shots in series of five begins, where the shot must be made at a speed target in three seconds and leaving with the arm that carries the weapon in the initial position at 45º, facing the weapon towards the ground, until the target is rotated, starting at three seconds and then closing again for a period of seven seconds. The sportsman from Club Tir Cambrils, Jordi Balañá, obtained 2nd position in the Senior category in Mollet and 10th overall in the state after taking into account all the results from the different venues. At the Mollet headquarters, the first classified was the athlete from the Barcelona Shooting Club Lino García Rodríguez, current champion of Spain.
