• October 9, 2018 – Pilar party.
• The Cambrils Olympic Shooting Club attends to participate in the 2018 Virgen del Pilar Shooting Championship organized by the Civil Guard Command of Tarragona between State Security Forces and Corps and Shooting Clubs.
• These were the characteristics of the test; 1.- CHARACTERISTICS OF THE WEAPON. – Gun or revolver, as it leaves the factory, maximum 6 inches of barrel and open aiming elements. The anatomical grips and mouth brakes are prohibited. 2.-RULES FOR THE TEST. 2.1.-Whites. – Precision, Circular of 50 cm. of diameter with visual of 20 cts. 2.1.-Position – Standing, freely and without support, holding the weapon with one or both hands 2.3.-Distance. – 25 meters. 2.4.-Classification: The qualification will be made distinguishing separately the participants corresponding to Security Forces of the participants of the Shooting Clubs, and within each of these two groups, the following classification will be made: – Individual, by sum total points, specifying the total of each phase. – For Teams, the 3 best ranked shooters (gun or revolver does not matter). 2.5.-Clothing and Accessories: – It is allowed to use any type of clothing or sportswear common to each team, but with the hallmark of belonging. – Spyglasses or any type of accessory recognized by the U.I.T. may also be used, the use of eyeglasses and ear protectors being mandatory. 2.6.- Interruptions: – They will be resolved by the referee according to U.I.T. standards, but with a general criterion. If the interruption is attributable to the shooter will be counted “ZERO” the missing shots and if it is to the weapon, the total series will be repeated or only in the missing shots, according to previous notice to the shooter. 3.-DEVELOPMENT OF THE TEST: Precision Phase – It will consist of 15 competition shots, in 10 minutes. 4.-OBSERVATIONS: – The incidents or doubts that arise, will be resolved in the first instance by the referee of the roll, going to the consideration of the Delegates or Team Captains, who will resolve by majority agreement, always giving priority, should be expected, the ITU standards 5.-PLACE OF CELEBRATION OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP: – Jordi Tarragó Shooting Club facilities located in the SAN SALVADOR Urbanization of Tarragona, starting at 09.00 hours on October 9th.
• At the end of the Championship around 13:00 hours, attendees were offered a glass of wine and tapas, at the Headquarters of the Civil Guard of Tarragona, located on Calle María Aurelia Capmany, number 6, proceeding to the delivery of the different prizes and Trophies to the best classified of all the categories, thanking us for the assistance and we were placed for the next year.
