• 05/03/2023 GENERALITY TROPHY 9 MM PISTOL. SENIOR.
• Cambrils takes the Generalitat Trophy for 9 millimeter pistol in the senior category.
• This past Sunday, March 5, the first sporting event of the Catalan Olympic Shooting Federation took place, the Generalitat Trophy in 9 mm pistol, at the Granollers Olympic Shooting Club, with magnificent facilities located in the municipality of Canovelles. The competition started promptly at 9 o’clock and the refereeing, carried out by the President of the Federation and with numerous assistants, allowed the competition, which consisted of two rounds, to go quite quickly, which the athletes really appreciate, since if the times waiting times are high, they can cool down and it is difficult to maintain concentration.
  This competition consists of two parts, one of precision and another of duel with thirty shots each, the most complex is the duel where in twenty seconds 5 shots must be fired, bearing in mind that these weapons have a high recoil and it’s hard to face moose again once you’ve shot them.
  The competition started promptly with the call of the shooters to their places at 8:30 a.m., once all the athletes are on the shooting line the competition judges go through all the participants and do a weight control of the trigger the weapon required to pull the trigger at one kilogram and review the weapon’s documentation and federal license.
  The second round started an hour and a half later where the Cambrils athlete Jordi Balañá managed to qualify in the first position in the senior category.
