  • Last Sunday, June 12, the Catalan Free Pistol Championship took place at the facilities of the Catalan Olympic Shooting Federation located in the Public Safety Institute of Catalonia, in Mollet de Vallés.     The competition was divided into 2 batches, Veterans at 9 in the morning and seniors at 11 a.m. The athletes have an initial 15-minute test and then the 90-minute competition where 60 shots must be fired at a precision target.
    The shooter of our Club Jordi Balañá has tied the points with the current champion of Spain, the athlete from the Barcelona Shooting Club Francisco Javier Camacho, the tiebreaker has been carried out by counting the inside tens, being 7 those of this athlete from Cambrils and 4 by the athlete from Barcelona, ​​thus obtaining the 1st position in the Senior category of the Championship.
