On Sunday, November 28, 2021, the Catalan Central Fire Championship took place at the facilities of the Catalan Shooting Federation in Mollet del Vallès. The competition is very difficult as it consisted of a precision phase consisting of thirty shots in a series of five and in which there are five minutes to fire the five shots in each series. Once the precision phase is finished, the duel phase of thirty shots in series of five begins, where the shot must be made at a speed target in three seconds and leaving with the competing arm in the initial position at 45º, facing it towards the target. the ground, until the target is turned, starting the final three seconds.
The athlete of our Club, Jordi Balañà, obtained the 5th position in the Seniors category. The winner of this edition of the Championship was the athlete from the Gerona Shooting Club Lino Garcia Rodríguez, current champion of Spain.
