• Participation in the Catalan Air Pistol Championship.
  This past Sunday, September 11, the Catalan Air Pistol Championship took place in the enormous pavilion covered by the Olympic 10 meter air pistol modality, equipped with more than 70 electronic targets from the Catalan Olympic Shooting Federation located at the Public Security Institute. of Catalonia, in Mollet de Vallès.
  The competition began punctually with the shooters being called to their positions at 8:30 am. Once all the athletes are on the shooting line, the competition judges go through all the participants and check the weight of the trigger. the weapon necessary to activate the trigger, in case this weight is less than 500 grams they give the athlete the opportunity to correct the weight of the trigger.
  The competition has a test time of a quarter of an hour where real shots can be made on the target and the result is immediately shown to the monitors. Once this time is over, the judges inform through the public address system that the competition time begins, then Athletes have 75 minutes to shoot 60 shots. The participation of all the Catalan Clubs was very large, since this competition is the most contested of the year, because it is an Olympic modality.
  This year the Olympic final was held among the senior shooters, a new change in regulations at the international level, it has almost returned to the old final model, where the athletes make 10 shots in two series in which once finished and every two features Later, they are eliminated based on the average score recorded by the markers until only two finalists remain.
  Jordi Balañá participated from the Cambrils Olympic Shooting Club, achieving fourth position in the championship in the Senior category, being behind the athletes Jordi Rissech from the Barcelona Shooting Club, Francisco Cabrera from the Sabadell Shooting Club and the winner Joan Herrerias from the Flix Shooting, in the Veteran category, Joan Pallares participated, obtaining fourth position.
