On Saturday, October 28, the Catalan Air Rifle Championship took place at the facilities of the Catalan Olympic Shooting Federation, located at the Public Security Institute of Catalonia, in Mollet de Vallès. This competition was delayed after an incident on September 17, this time the competition took place promptly at 9 in the morning. We have enjoyed a wonderful day, participation has been large with young athletes from Catalonia. The trophy has been closely contested and the good atmosphere among everyone has been the norm. This competition consists of a preliminary phase of 15 minutes of preparation and 60 shots in a time of 75 minutes, concluding the qualifying competition from 8th to 1st places. This final consists of a single round with eight athletes, 5 of the 8 with the lowest scores will be disqualified until they achieve the gold, silver and bronze podiums. The athlete María Antón participated from the Cambrils Shooting Club, achieving fourth place in the semifinals and sixth in the final. The winner in this modality was Rut Rosales from the Jordi Tarragó Shooting Club. We wish María Antón the best in the next competition in the 2023 Spanish Championship of Young Promises, which will take place at the C.T.D facilities.
