AWARDS CEREMONY FOR THE 38TH TARRAGONA PROVINCIAL INTERCLUB CHAMPIONSHIP.

Last Sunday, June 28th, at 2:00 PM, the closing luncheon and awards ceremony for the 38th Tarragona Provincial Interclub Championship 2026 took place at the Casa Félix Restaurant in Valls (Tarragona). The event was a resounding success, with an average of over 100 athletes competing throughout the championship at the seven shooting ranges in the province.

Individual Classification

The overall classification was divided, according to the championship regulations, into five groups: A, B, C, D, and Ladies. Groups A, B, C, and D were established after the championship concluded and the final classification was compiled, taking into account each athlete’s four best performances. The total number of participants (excluding the Women’s category) was divided by four; if the result included decimals, the remaining athletes were placed in Group D.

Team Classification

The team (club) classification was compiled using the three highest-scoring athletes from each club in each competition. For the final championship classification, the five highest scores obtained by each team were counted, discarding the two lowest. Team composition was independent of the final individual classification. The Jordi Tarragó Shooting Club of Tarragona, as the organizing club, prepared the final classifications and sent them in advance by email to all participating clubs, thus facilitating the awards ceremony. The organizers would like to express their gratitude for the participation and the excellent atmosphere throughout the championship, as well as for the attendance at the closing luncheon and awards ceremony, which brought a magnificent edition of the 2026 Tarragona Provincial Interclub Championship to a close.
