EUROPEAN HISTORICAL WEAPONS CHAMPIONSHIP. BARCELOS-PORTUGAL.

The European Historical Weapons Shooting Championship was held in Barcelos, Portugal, from August 2nd to 9th.
219 athletes from 19 countries participated in the championship.
The championship took place on very hot days, which, in principle, did not affect the competition.
In the medal table, Spain ranked second with 27 medals, of which 10 were gold, 12 silver, and 5 bronze.
Two athletes from the CAMBRILS OLIMPICAL SHOOTING CLUB participated, Jesús Arribas and Héctor Vila, both of whom achieved excellent results.
Jesús Arribas was European Champion in the Flintlock Pistol, runner-up in the Revolver, and third in the combined 25- and 50-meter Revolver. He also won the European Team Champion in the Percussion Revolver.
Héctor Vila was runner-up in the 50-meter Military Rifle Team.
