On Sunday, July 7, the Catalan Championship of Historical Breech-Loading Weapons was held at the Lérida Olympic Shooting Club. The best athletes in these disciplines from the community participated in the championship; Jesús Arribas participated on behalf of the Cambrils Club.
After the big storm the previous day, a great day dawned for shooting practice and this was evident with the good scores achieved.
There was a total of 31 athletes who competed in the 8 modalities of the championship.
Jesús Arribas became Champion of Catalonia in the Piñal modality (Breech-loading revolver with black powder) with 97 points, also breaking the record of Catalonia that is now in his record.
The day ended with congratulations from the attendees themselves.
