• Participation in the Spanish Free Pistol Championship. The athlete from the Cambrils Shooting Club achieves a third classification by federation teams.
  Last Sunday, September 24, the Spanish Free Pistol Championship took place at the Olympic Shooting Sports High Performance Center in Granada. Both the refereeing and the punctuality in the schedules were impeccable. The free pistol championship was the last competition, since it is considered the premier category of Shooting, as the culmination of two days of competitions in various sports modalities in all possible categories. This championship consists of a preliminary phase of 15 minutes of preparation, which once finished, the competition begins, consisting of 60 shots in 90 minutes, at a precision target located 50 meters away, controlled with electronic targets and scoring monitors.
  The Cambrils Shooting Club athlete Jordi Balañá, as a member of the Catalan federation team, achieved a third classification.
