These are a few words of thanks to the Cambrils Shooting Club. Today, November 20, a commemorative act was held at its facilities to honor Luis González, who was our president for 10 years, and previously vice president, until in October 2020, due to COVID-19, we let. The event, organized by its current president, Mr. Jordi Amorós, and the Board of Directors, has been truly emotional. Commemorative diplomas have been delivered to all attendees. And the president of the Catalan Olympic Shooting Federation, Don Joan Rodríguez, has presented a commemorative plaque to his widow, in the presence of his entire family, his four daughters, his brother and sister-in-law, sons-in-law and grandchildren. The current president has spoken some nice words, recalling the figure of Luis González, a person for whom the club was an essential part of his life, and to whom he dedicated almost all his time, because for him it represented much more than just a hobby. After the emotion shared by all the attendees, remembering his figure; the club has given everyone present a wonderful aperitif, and finally, those closest to us have finished the day at the L’hort den Pere Restaurant, tasting a wonderful meal typical of our area, where everyone had some memory to remember, about the great person that Luis was and the absolute dedication he had with our Club.
