On June 26, at the Lérida shooting club, the Catalan Breech-Load Championship (Metal cartridges with black powder) was held.
It was a very hot day, which made it even more difficult for us to wear the strenuous shooting jackets. Even so, there was a very high participation, reaching almost 40 participants. Among those who were the best athletes in all of Catalonia in these modalities.
Jesús Arribas participated from the Tir Olimpic Cambrils club, becoming champion of Catalonia in the Núñez de Castro modality (Military rifle standing at 50m).
As always in this type of event, the day ended with the shooters discussing how to get more precision out of the relics with which they compete, all in a very cordial and discerning atmosphere.
